// step 01 · requirements

Check system requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Using Drakos on macOS or Linux through Dalamud may have issues, specifically with configuration settings. The multibox app is also only supported on Windows.
  • Drakos currently only supports the English clients.
// step 02 · xivlauncher

Install XIVLauncher and Dalamud

XIVLauncher replaces the stock FFXIV launcher and adds Dalamud, the plugin framework Drakos runs on. Open the XIVLauncher site and select Download XIVLauncher. During first-time setup, choose English as the game language.

// step 03 · dalamud

Activate Dalamud

In XIVLauncher, open Settings (gear icon), click the Dalamud tab, and select Enable Dalamud. If this is your first time using XIVLauncher, it will automatically ask if you want to enable Dalamud.

// step 04 · vnavmesh repository

Install vnavmesh

Drakos uses vnavmesh to move your character and won't start an order without it. Once you're in-game, type /xlsettings in chat and open the Experimental tab. Under Custom Plugin Repositories, paste the URL below into the empty field, click the + button, and click Save. The first time, Dalamud shows a warning; after 15 seconds, click "Ok, I have read and understood this warning" to unlock the field.
